Katputlis are traditional Rajasthani puppets made of wood, cloth, and strings. They are a popular form of entertainment and storytelling in the state of Rajasthan, India. The word "katputli" translates to "puppet" in Hindi.

These puppets are known for their vibrant colors, intricate detailing, and lively performances. They are usually handcrafted by skilled artisans who have been practicing this art form for generations. The puppeteers manipulate the strings attached to the puppets to bring them to life, creating a captivating show for the audience.

Katputli shows typically depict stories from Indian folklore, mythology, and social issues. The puppets often represent various characters, including kings, queens, gods, demons, animals, and common people. The puppeteers skillfully maneuver the puppets, making them dance, talk, and interact with each other.
 It was awarded the Geographical Indication Tag (GI) in 2008- 2009.
