Kondapalli toys are world-famous for their special wood that adds a touch of aesthetics, the room fills with finely created figures. To make this toy both water and oil colours are used. Painting is done with soft and thin paintbrushes. The toys depict scenes from actual life, animals, rural folks, and characters from the epic. The artisans who make these toys are known as Arya-Kshatriya. It is a wonderful material for home decoration also. These are lightly weighted, made with unaffected colours and old aged techniques.
