Mor Aangan | Moradabad Iron Peacock Urli with Diyas, 12 Inch

Mor Aangan sets a peacock at the edge of a shallow 12-inch iron urli, with small diya cups worked into the rim. It comes from Moradabad, packed in a gift box.

Pour in water, scatter marigold petals and light the cups; the peacock seems to stand beside a courtyard pool. A fitting centrepiece for a Diwali dining table or an office reception.

A courtyard, a peacock, a little pool of light.

Technique: Forged iron with hand-shaped peacock detail
Care: Empty the water after use and dry the bowl fully to prevent rust
