Dwaar Urli | Moradabad Hanging Iron Urli with Chain

Dwaar Urli is a traditional iron bowl hung from a long chain, made in Moradabad to greet guests at the door. At about 55 cm from hook to base, it hangs at eye level in most porches.

Fill it with floating flowers by day and add tealights at sunset. During weddings and Diwali, a row of them along a balcony makes the house glow from the street.

The first light a guest sees.
